Barrett

William Barrett first appears in the trade directories in 1912 operating from 22 Albert Rd, Devonport. From 1914 to 1926 he is listed as operating from 21 Albert Rd before being found as Barrett & Swainson opticians & chemists at the same address between 1937 and 1955. The bottle below provides the link between the two companies and also provides us with two further addresses, presumably post 1955.
