Bodmin

Cardell

The Cardell name, in varying forms, is associated with Bodmin chemists throughout the period covered in this CD.

John Martin Harvey Cardell is listed in 1852 – 1873 at premises in Fore St, Bodmin.

Between 1889 and 1893 the Fore St premises, along with others in Honey Street, are listed as being used by Cardell & Cardell.

From 1893 to 1906 the Fore Street address is listed for Richard Taylor Cardell, the Honey Street premises are listed in this way until 1902 but in 1906 are listed as Cardell & Northey. The Northey name is continued in 1914 & 1926 directories with premises at Mount Folly Square.
