Breeze, Jackson & Green

This company’s name is most commonly found on the reverse of small ceramic pots used for “Randalls Celebrated Ointment”. These pots occur in differing sizes and are much sought after and bear a transfer including ‘Established 1812’. Whether the 1812 refers to the company or Randall’s formulation is hard to determine.

The company is still listed in 1919 as a wholesale druggist operating from 41 Union St and 41 & 42 Station Rd, Plymouth. In 1926 the company’s premises are listed as being occupied by Breeze’s (Plymouth) Ltd which may add to the presumption of a tie between George Breeze and this company.
