Breeze

George Breeze’s most prized legacy is the blue or red print or Pomade pot lids, these are both rare and desirable making them highly prized, and highly priced, items.

The company is listed between 1878 and 1895 at Catherine St, Devonport and Union St, Plymouth, between 1889 and 1890 from Alexandra Rd, Ford. The company is listed in 1926 at a different address in Union St and the Station Rd premises previously occupied by Breeze, Jackson & Green.

Interestingly, at some time between 1895 and 1902 the Catherine St premises were taken over by John Reed.
