Timothy Whites & Taylors

A national chain whose bottles are sometimes found with intact labels displaying the address of a branch in Plymouth (in this case, Mutley Plain), the company arrived in Plymouth around 1912 and opened a number of branches within the three towns at that time.

Their great rival Boots also arrived at around that time and opened a number of branches in Plymouth and Devonport.
